Single Sign-On Alliance Formed Between Acando and Ping Identity

Ping Identity : 22 February, 2010  (New Product)
Acando's European clients now have internet-based single sign-on capability from Ping Identity after the two companies for a strategic partnership
Ping Identity, experts in Internet Identity Security, and Acando, a North European Management and IT consultancy, have announced a partnership to simplify and secure the user sign-on and account management process for Internet Single Sign-On, Identity-Enabled Web Services and SaaS-based business applications.

"Concerns around security, difficult user access and extra administrative workload often delay collaboration and implementation of SOA across organizations and security domains," said Sven Ivar Mørch, Vice President of Acando Norway. "Ping Identity's SAML standards-based Internet Identity Security solutions resolve these issues, helping our clients improve user adoption, reduce administrative costs and accelerate SOA strategies."

Ping Identity's on-premise software (PingFederate) and on-demand service (PingConnect) deliver Internet SSO and User Account Management that helps increase user adoption and productivity, saves administrative time and cost, and strengthens security. Ping Identity's solutions support more than 400 customers worldwide, including 40 of the Fortune 100 and 175 SaaS and BPO Providers. Acando joins Ping Identity's network of 20 integration partners who provide Ping Identity solutions worldwide.

"We are pleased to support Acando and its clients with Internet Identity Security solutions that are trusted by the world's largest companies," said Andrew Hindle, Ping Identity's Director of International Business Development. "We help users access their Internet-based business applications via a single, secure login. Our solutions implement quickly and work across disparate environments."
