Simple damage evidence for smaller products.

Lamerholm Electronics : 26 June, 2007  (New Product)
Damage in transit deterrent provided by compact clip suitable for mounting in products or packaging to reveal damage occurrences during handling, shipment or rental periods.
Lamerholm announces the availability of a brand new range of
ShockWatch Clips, designed specifically for companies who wish to use
a damage deterrent solution on smaller products. Based on the
renowned ShockWatch labels that are used by companies throughout the
world to save time and money by providing a cost-effective damage
deterrent when shipping goods, the Mini-Clips, which measure only
36mm x 13mm x 3mm, can be mounted directly on to or even inside a
product to indicate when an impact has occurred. This new range of
Mini-Clips is ideal for hand-held products, particularly within the
hire industry.

Using a state of the art mechanism, the clear tube on the Clip simply
turns red when activated. This activation cannot be reversed, so
providing evidence that mishandling has occurred. The ShockWatch
Mini-Clips are self-adhesive and can be stuck onto any part of the
product. They can be used to monitor poor handling and abuse at every
stage of the product lifecycle from manufacture, in transit and even
when being used by the customer.

The ShockWatch Mini-Clips are available in a wide range of shock
levels, from 10g up to 150g, to meet specific requirements and enable
cost and time savings throughout companies. By using the Mini-Clips
to monitor how end users are handling products both service calls and
warranty abuse may be reduced. The ShockWatch Clips complement a
range of solutions from Lamerholm for damage monitoring.
