Secutech, an annual international exhibition and conference for the electronic security, info security, fire & safety sectors will move to an earlier date for its 2014 show. Instead of being held in April, the show will now take place from 19 – 21 March 2014 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre, Taiwan.
The show is organised by Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd and is expected to attract more than 520 local and international exhibitors. Commenting on the date change, Mr Parson Lee, the company’s Managing Director said: “We have moved to an earlier date for exhibitor and buyer convenience due to the increasing number of exhibitions and conferences held elsewhere in the world during April. By holding Secutech in March, exhibitors can present their new technologies earlier to buyers so it is a win-win situation for everyone.”
Secutech covers the complete supply chain for the safety and security industries, from components and hardware devices to software equipment and accessories, and attracts original manufacturers from China, Germany, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and the US. The 2014 show will also feature new zones for home technology (smart home) and identification technology.
Confirmed exhibitors who have rebooked for Secutech 2014 include international brands such as Dahua (China), Everfocus (Taiwan), HDPRO (Korea), Lilin (Taiwan), Nuuo (Taiwan), Seagate (US), Toshiba (Japan) and Vivotek (Taiwan). Already, the Access Control zone is almost 90 percent booked, making it one of the largest access control display areas in Asia.
Secutech is also an education platform with key industry players keen to share their knowledge and experiences in fringe programmes such as the Global Digital Security Forum (GDSF) and the Composec Conference. In addition, the Secutech Excellence Award acknowledges products with outstanding features and performance.
