Security vendor award for Trend Micro

Trend Micro : 04 June, 2009  (Company News)
Channel partnership award reflects Trend Micro dedication with continued launch of more tools to assist partners
Trend Micro has won their second channel industry award in the UK in under 6 months - the MicroScope ACES Security Vendor of the Year award.

Anthony O'Mara, VP of Trend Micro, EMEA comments: "This award is a result of Trend Micro's commitment to becoming the vendor of choice through a series of focused initiatives dedicated to making it easier for our partners and customers to do business with Trend Micro. Winning a MicroScope award is a further recognition of the dedication and team work within the UK business that has gone into driving product innovation and value for money in the channel."

'The Security Vendor of the Year section was an extremely tough category this year and the standard of entries was high. Trend Micro should be proud of their achievement as it shows their strong commitment and dedication to their channel partners," comments Simon Quicke, editor at MicroScope.

Over the past 18 months, Trend Micro has enhanced its global partner programme and invested in new product development to be able to offer its partners solutions that are easier to deploy, involve less hardware to maintain and ultimately have lower maintenance costs.

Following the launch of its new cloud-based network, Smart Protection Network, Trend Micro has started to offer partners more tools to bring to their customer base with solutions that lighten bandwidth consumption on customers' networks and offer comprehensive up-to-date protection.
