Secure, short-run ID card printing service.

Payne Security : 11 April, 2007  (New Product)
Personalised secure smart cards for use as ID cards or for access control can be printed in short runs by Payne security using the latest anti counterfeiting and tamper proofing techniques.
Payne Security will be launching its new service to offer short run secure personalised smart cards for the security and access control industry. The recent investment in its digital print capability and card manufacturing allow it to combine the latest in secure ID card printing with a variety of Mifare and proximity card inlays.

Many companies have invested within their access control systems, but are now recognising that ensuring the technology within the cards is just one part of an overall secure ID card solution. Using state-of-the-art security software, Payne Security can provide sophisticated printed ID card designs with integrated overt and covert security features that combine with the smart card technology providing a truly secure card that cannot be copied or passed off.

Payne Security's toolbox of technologies brings a range of innovations designed for top-end document authentication, such as passports and national ID's. Specifically developed to be highly visual and difficult to originate and duplicate, these solutions can be incorporated into the printed core layer of each card, to provide that extra visual level of protection. Features include 'Bank note' standard guilloche patterns and fine line designs, UV print and microtext solutions, Optically Variable Devices such as holograms to ensure they cannot be duplicated or passed off.

At IFSEC, Payne Security will also be launching its new online bureau service, which gives customers even greater flexibility to order and receive their ID cards. Designs are created online and submitted to Payne Security, who produce the cards and deliver within 24 hours. Also on display will be the range of ID printer solutions from Magicard. For the second year running, Payne Security has been awarded the Magicard Worldwide Dealer of the Year, in recognition for achieving a record performance in revenue and unit sales in 2006.

Payne Security's pedigree is underlined by the breadth of its ID and card range, as the company's Head of Marketing, Simon Wildash, explains. "Everybody from multi-national corporations to local schools have benefited from Payne Security's capabilities. We believe that we offer unrivalled quality and service in personal ID solutions for private and public sectors both nationally and globally."
