Safeguard Establishes Communications Partner In Mexican Market

Safeguard Security Holdings : 19 April, 2010  (Company News)
Ensuring its communication and internet services for video surveillance clients in Mexico, Safeguard has created an alliance with communications infrastructure provider in the region
Safeguard Security Holdings announces that its subsidiary, SYSTEMSgroup Global, has formed an alliance with Megacable Comunicaciones of Mexico to provide full communication and internet services for its video and security surveillance installations.

Lou Rathburn, Vice President, Business Development for SYSTEMSgroup Global stated, "We needed a strong communications partner in Mexico and Megacable has the connectivity we need to provide services to our government and commercial clients there. They are one of the largest cable providers with one of the most advanced communications infrastructure to support our IP camera technology for security surveillance."

Michael Lagow, CEO for Safeguard stated, "Megacable is able to support our total communication needs throughout Mexico via their expansive fiber network. With Megacable's advanced technology, all of our video surveillance transmission can be delivered by redundant sources to our monitoring centers in Mexico and to our base of operations in Dallas, Texas." Lagow also added, "Discussions are underway to incorporate Megacable's technicians to support our ongoing installations and provide 'on call' maintenance services. Plans are being considered for their technicians to be trained by our Dallas based technology team for installation, service and maintenance of our surveillance equipment, allowing a 24/7 operation, thus reducing our overhead and cost of operation."
