Safeguard Security Holdings : 30 April, 2009  (Company News)
Protection service portfolio at Safeguard Security expanded with partnership involving narcotics and explosive detection dog service provider
Safeguard Security Holdings, a provider of corporate and industrial security systems and personnel, announces that its subsidiary, SYSTEMSgroup Protective Services, has entered into a renewal agreement to provide professional narcotics and explosive detection services through its canine teaming partner, Scentry Place. Nancy Bidwell, proprietor of Scentry Place, has trained, handled and certified Narcotics and Explosives Ordinance Dogs (EOD) and their handlers for twenty-nine years. Nancy Bidwell had the distinctive honour of working with the HMX [Marine One] and Air Force One security details during the Bush Administration. Nancy Bidwell personally conducted numerous EOD sweeps for Condoleezza Rice during her visits to the "Western White House" in Crawford, Texas.

"Nancy brings a significant element to our security services allowing our firm to offer the most advanced narcotics and explosive detection techniques in our industry by using highly trained and certified canines. Her services have been retained through us by one of our largest power utility clients in the Texas area, which our firm has served during the past four years. We are excited to have teamed with Scentry Place as part of our overall service offerings," stated Safeguard's CEO, Michael Lagow.
