Remote field controller from Axiomtek

Axiomtek : 23 April, 2008  (New Product)
ICO-200 offers rugged ease of use as unit for remote monitoring and diagnosis without fear of damaging the equipment.
Axiomtek introduces its new fanless remote field controller, the ICO-200, equipped with a low power consumption AMD LX800 processor. This industrial-grade embedded box offers smart remote management tools (R@Tools) for "Remote Monitoring", "Remote Alarm", "Remote Diagnosis" and "Security", to enable the efficient control and monitoring through a wired or wireless network. The ICO-200 is an ideal solution for unmanned room, factory automation, industrial machine, and more.

The ultra-slim ICO-200 adopts R@Tools technology which provides real-time remote monitoring, alarm and diagnosis. The operators can be automatically notified by an alarm sent by controller and run diagnosis process on-line immediately once events like crashing down, over-heating and disconnection occur. With the remote management functions, business can save onsite manpower cost and maintenance time. Besides, it offers extreme system security and only authorized users can take over control through LAN.

"The new ideal ICO-200 is a fanless operation remote field controller with front cabling design and R@Tools software for monitoring applications over a wired or wireless network environment" said Alex Hsueh, Product Manager of Applied Computing Platforms Division at Axiomtek. "The size of only 160.5mm x 111.8mm x 53.35 mm and din-rail mounting design make the ICO-200 fit for any space-limited environments. With the front access and easy plug designs, users can easily maintain and install software through the front panel side."

The ICO-200 can connect with various control devices to access data and generate analysis through RS-232/422/485, USB and LAN ports. The ICO-200 also supports mainstream operating systems, the Windows XP Embedded and Windows CE.NET. This RoHS compliant product will be available around early of May, 2008.
