Rebate Offer on Schlage Home Security Systems Through Until End of April

Schlage : 09 March, 2010  (New Product)
LiNK home management system starter kits including wireless locking subject to $50 rebate from Lowe's and RadioShack when purchased before the end of April
To celebrate the one-year anniversary of its Schlage LiNK home-management system, Schlage is offering a $50 rebate for Starter Kits purchased through until April 30. Lowe's and RadioShack will offer an instant rebate at the cash register while all other rebates will be mail-in. The mail-in rebate applies only to kits sold at the full retail price of $299. Schlage LiNK is available for sale at more than 5,000 retail stores as well as through online retailers Amazon.com, TigerDirect.com, CircuitCity.com, CompUSA.com, Lowes.com, RadioShack.com and others.

The starter kit provides everything needed to set up a Z-Wave-based wireless home-management system, including one Schlage wireless keypad deadbolt or lever lock, the Schlage Bridge, which connects to the home's existing router, and a light module.

The Schlage LiNK System gives homeowners 24/7 control over their homes from a computer or cell phone and enables them to remotely lock and unlock doors, receive email or text alerts when specific access codes are entered, conserve energy through remote thermostat management and monitor the home via a live video feed.

In addition to Apple's iPhone and RIM's BlackBerry, the LiNK mobile application is available for devices running Microsoft's Windows Mobile 5 or higher and phones compatible with Java. Support for Qualcomm's BREW is coming soon.
