Cognitec Systems, a supplier of face recognition technology and systems, will be presenting its latest line of products at the Biometrics 2009 to be held at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London, UK October 21ST & October 22nd.
Cognitec's presentation includes:
* Image capturing and quality assessment based on ISO criteria for ePassport images: Cognitec's solution features real-time feedback to persons being photographed as well as advanced camera control which ensures the capturing of optimal images. Existing images can be checked as well to make sure that only ISO compliant images will be accepted for document issuance.
* Face recognition VideoScan software: Person identification through video surveillance cameras using multiple cameras in real time, based on Cognitec's unique face tracker technology.
* Face recognition on handheld devices: Cognitec 1:1 and 1:many face recognition technologies are now available on mobile units enabling users to identify persons independent of network connection
