Radar, high performance perimeter system detects intruders with extreme accuracy

GPS Standard : 05 October, 2010  (New Product)
At Security Essen 2010, GPS Standard has introduced its latest new product, Radar, a new electromagnetic wave system for the protection of perimeters, an impassable barrier with a modern design, and recently winner of the Detektor International Award as "Best Product 2010".
Radar operates at 24 GHz and creates a zone of protection of about 3-4m width and height, with a detection distance of 100m. It is able to detect the position and speed of movement of the intruder with extreme accuracy, offering maximum protection. Its futuristic aesthetic design, with a shape similar to associated lighting systems, Radar is perfectly suited for any application, from industrial sites to airports, to the gardens of private villas. The residential version of GPS Standard is camouflaged in a garden lighting column! Being able to create a network of radar sensors or to integrate them with CCTV or other systems allows almost any security requirement to be satisfied.

Radar uses electromagnetic waves projected along the perimeter to be protected, creating an impassable barrier. The electronics is designed using a DSP microprocessor, with exceptional signal processing and analysis capabilities. It is possible to create a network of radar sensors to satisfy the requirements of any installation. It can also be used to direct PTZ cameras to the location of the intrusion. Thanks to the auto-acquisition function, the radar will not generate false alarms.

There are different versions, depending on the length of the barrier to be created: from 50-80-120-200m. The 120 and 200m versions are available with pinpoint, with precise detection of the crossing point. Also available are stand alone/rapid deployment versions for military use.
