Quality certification for point of sale service.

VeriFone gains certificate for quality assurance after Lloyds audit of operations involving the supply of equipment and service for electronic point of sale.
VeriFone Holdings has gained ISO9001:2000 Certification for the provision of post-delivery services for EFTPOS solutions for its EMEA client services group. The certification, the first of its kind for VeriFone, was awarded after a Surveillance Audit by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance, the UK's top assessors for ISO certification.

Over the last 12 months, VeriFone's dynamic growth strategy has been realised with the acquisition of the PAYware and Secura product lines. This has led to the introduction of a policy of integration and standardisation, enabling VeriFone's Service and Customer Support teams to be able to provide a uniformly high standard of operational support to the company's current and prospective customer base.

"This certification is key for us because it enables us to convey to customers our ability to provide them with uniform standards of service across all our support operations, from hardware warranty to full managed services. In short, our quality assurance is our customers' reassurance," said Nigel Bidmead, EMEA Managing Director for VeriFone. This certification is a reflection of the standards we set ourselves and it is rewarding when an outside organisation of the magnitude of Lloyds Register Quality Assurance recognises them in this way."
