Plustek's SmartNVR series has successfully demonstrated its current competiveness and future development potential at the Secutech tradeshow. By showcasing robust NVR solutions for outdoor multi-site environments, construction sites, public transportations, and retail markets, Plustek made a bold and confident statement about their product and market niche.
Plustek utilized the combined spaces of four booths at the Secutech Exposition to showcase its NVR solutions in three major areas: 1) outdoor multi-site solution with the switch port embedded and compact-sized NVR Slim240, 2) construction site solution with the energy efficient and solar power friendly NVR Slim380 (newly released for eight-channel IP monitor use), and 3) anti-vibration solution for trucks, trains, and ambulances with the powerful NVR 4200V. At both the Secutech and the earlier ISCwest expositions, Plustek effectively secured follow-up interests of numerous resellers from all around the world who wanted to learn more about the company’s ability to integrate its solution with different projects.
Jack Chuang, Plustek’s Product Manager, stated that “since 2006, Plustek has decided to apply its extraordinary image processing technology from its scanner line of business of twenty-five years to video surveillance. Over the years, our team has worked to steadily develop both software and hardware to support this breakthrough. Together with the advantage of having our own factory production line, our Linux-embedded system is now being used worldwide such as in the United States residential areas, England chain pharmacies and jewellers, and German fire trucks and ambulances. The short term goal of Plustek includes diligently working to fulfill customer demands for mid-to-large size projects. For example, Plustek’s backend video management software (VMS) “Multi-Manager” has successfully been adapted to use with the surveillance system on Taiwan’s public buses.
Multi-Manager allows for simultaneous monitoring of over 128 channels, stable local data storage on the buses, and seamless remote live view and playback. All of these capabilities further consolidate Plustek’s surveillance solutions and affirm our focus of future development to be in the retail, education, transportation, and industrial markets.”
