Plustek NVR4000 on show at IFSEC
Plustek will be exhibiting at IFSEC 2008 and will be using the show as a platform to launch its entry-level security system, ideal for monitoring small shops, petrol stations, business hotels and small offices.

The Plustek NVR4000 is a Network Video recorder, which provides Motion Jpeg (M-JPEG) recordings, that connects directly to a network and is manageable via IP or over a LAN.

Together with up to four network cameras, including those from market leaders Axis Communications, the Plustek NVR4000 offers users a comprehensive surveillance solution for detecting shoplifters, reducing false alarms, increasing personal safety or viewing premises. It has a 320GB hard disc enabling 14 days worth of data to be stored with VGA resolution at one frame per second from four video channels, with no degrading in image quality compared to the original image taken on the camera.

As well as being simple to install and easy to use, its bundled software application enables simultaneous recording and remote access to live views and playback of recorded image from up to four network cameras. It also offers scheduled and triggered recordings at speeds of up to 60 frames per in VGA (640x480pixels) and 120 frames per second in QVGA (320x240 pixels).

Plustek will be displaying its NVR4000 solution with Axis cameras on its stand in the Taiwanese Pavillion at IFSEC 2008. The NVR4000 costs just £827 ex VAT and is available now from Micro-P.
