Photo enforcement administration contract for ATS

American Traffic Solutions : 19 March, 2009  (Application Story)
Texan town of Splendora hires American Traffic Solutions to administer it's red-light camera enforcement system
American Traffic Solutions (ATS), which serves more than 140 communities across North America, has signed a contract with Splendora, Texas to administer its red-light camera program. Splendora is in Montgomery County, about 30 miles north of Houston. The contract calls for two red-light cameras on the north and southbound feeder roads of US Highway 59 at FM 2090.

"We're implementing a safety program to improve the quality of life in Splendora by making our streets safer. If we can impact the number of red-light violations and save even one life, then we'll fulfill our program's goal," said Splendora Police Chief Alex Hadrych. "We're confident the combination of ATS' state-of-the-art technology and its focus on customer service will help Splendora reduce the preventable crashes and injuries that red-light runners cause."

ATS is the provider of choice for several Texas communities including many in the Houston metro area such as the cities of Houston, Baytown, Beaumont, Conroe, Humble, Jersey Village, and Sugar Land. ATS serves many other Texas communities around the state including Amarillo, Arlington, Balcones Heights, Burleson, Cedar Hill, College Station, Fort Worth, Hutto, and Irving. The company has two Texas regional offices; one in Missouri City (southwest of Houston) and the other in Arlington.
