Penetration testing demo at InfoSec.

Core Security Technologies : 04 April, 2008  (New Product)
Remote network penetration testing demonstration to feature at Core Security Technologies' stand at InfoSecurity Europe.
As part of the launch into Europe, Core Security Technologies will be making its debut at Infosec this year. The company has used it extensive background in information security, mathematics and communications to develop the first comprehensive penetration testing product for accurately identifying and exploiting specific network vulnerabilities.

Unlike vulnerability scanners like qualys, Nessus, eEye, etc., Core Impact is the first commercial product to allow organisations to safely use actual attacker methodologies in real-world attack scenarios. The software-based product uses a point and click interface to enable user to actively exploit vulnerabilities within a network, replicating the kinds of access an intruder could achieve. This give companies the ability to find and fix "issues" before someone else does.

Since being launched in 2002, Core Impact has been deployed at over 625 customers worldwide who use the granular results of actual penetration testing to validate, prioritise corrective measures and set overall security strategy.

To highlight the need for these types of solutions, Core Security Technologies will be demonstrating a real time penetration test of a remote network at its stand B235 during Infosec. Core Security Technologies will also be actively talking to potential channel partners to help expand its European operation as well as briefing on its technology and work with the UK's growing community of EC-Council Licensed Penetration Testers.
