PC performance optimisation tool from SPAMfighter

SPAMfighter : 21 May, 2009  (New Product)
Anti-spam filter producer enhances product range with Slow-Pcfighter to improve performance of ailing computer equipment
SPAMfighter, the award-winning community-based anti-spam filter with over 6+ million spam fighters worldwide, announces the launch of SLOW-PCfighter, a new PC registry cleaner software engineered to enable users to improve performance and ultimately extend the lifespan of their PC.

SLOW-PCfighter is fast, easy to install and user-friendly. Packed with the most advanced and powerful technologies available, SLOW-PCfighter quickly analyzes computer errors by seeking out and removing all unused entries in the PC registry from failed software, driver installations, cookies, and faulty uninstalls to disabled drivers and Windows startup, which can negatively impact PC performance. By seamlessly removing these errors, bugs and unnecessary programs, SLOW-PCfighter enables users to get their PCs back on track and running at maximum speeds to avoid future crashes and system failures.

In a recent online poll of over 500 PC users worldwide, SPAMFighter found that 78% would not be buying a new computer this year. This was despite 38% saying their computers were performing slower than when first purchased and 42% claiming dissatisfaction with current start-up speeds. When asked what was the cause of their ailing PCs, many believed this was due to the number of unnecessary programs installed (53%), age of PC (35%), SPAM (31%), spyware (31%), viruses (26%) and adware or cookies (17%) as the main contributors.

Commenting on the launch, Martin Thorborg, co-founder and CMO of SPAMfighter says, 'We launched SLOW-PCfighter in response to our users' desire to improve performance without having to buy a new PC. With the majority of people choosing to go without a new computer this year due to the current economic climate, it is important that they are armed with the right tools that enables them to get the most out of the PC they currently own. SLOW-PCfighter is our version of CPR for PCs, meaning we give their PCs a new lease on life by seamlessly eliminating unnecessary programs and bugs to enhance performance and speed.'
