Partnership Integrates Web Application Scanning With Security Testing

Core Security Technologies has partnered with NT OBJECTives (NTO) to provide seamless integration between NTO’s Web application vulnerability scanner, NTOSpider, and Core’s complete line of security test and measurement solutions. Through this partnership, customers can now automatically import NTOSpider scan results directly into Core Security’s CORE IMPACT Pro and CORE INSIGHT Enterprise to prove the exploitability of Web application vulnerabilities.

“Core and NTO are making it easy for customers to verify that their critical assets are not exposed,” said Kim Legelis, vice president of marketing at Core Security. “The combination of our products makes it possible for customers to comprehensively and proactively identify Web application vulnerabilities, strengthen their security, and prioritize and reduce their risk.”

Through the integration of Core and NTO’s products, organizations can quickly scan complex websites and applications and validate vulnerabilities by easily replicating the steps attackers would take to exploit them. This powerful integration reduces the amount of time organizations spend testing applications for security defects, while lowering costs and making the remediation process more efficient and effective.

"By integrating NTOSpider with Core’s testing and measurement products, we are making the process of performing automated Web application vulnerability scanning and validation significantly more efficient," said Dan Kuykendall co-CEO and chief technology officer of NT OBJECTives. "We look forward to enabling our mutual customers to more effectively secure their applications and databases, as well as communicate risk throughout their organizations via our combined solutions.”
