Partnership for federal e-mail security

Sendio : 22 April, 2009  (Company News)
Sendo has joined forces with TKC Integration Services to provide e-mail security solutions to the federal government sector
Sendio has announced from the DISA Customer Partnership Conference being held April 20-24 in Anaheim, Calif, that it has partnered with TKC Integration Services (TKCIS), SEWP & GSA contract holder. The partnership with TKCIS, which works with Fortune 500 companies to deliver IT solutions to the federal government, enables Sendio to further expand the reach of its E-mail Security Platform (ESP) to federal agencies.

Sendio's e-mail security solutions are already helping government entities throughout the country address spam, viruses and other e-mail security threats unique to the government. Through this partnership with TKCIS, Sendio is renewing its focus on servicing the federal sector and is offering government agencies a discounted price for the scalable and highly effective ESP. Because government entities rely heavily upon secure e-mail and cannot afford to miss important e-mails incorrectly tagged as spam (false positives), Sendio's ESP presents an ideal solution that saves valuable IT resources and completely eliminates spam and e-mail threats without creating false positives.

"We decided to partner with Sendio because we know government agencies need a robust and differentiated e-mail security technology rather than traditional filter solutions that just do not work," said Joel Lipkin, General Manager of TKCIS. "In this economic environment, Sendio is especially well positioned to respond to governmental agencies' critical need for a cost effective, scalable e-mail security solution."

Sendio's E-mail Security Platform is the only solution designed specifically for the enterprise that utilizes Contact Checking as opposed to content scanning to completely eliminate spam and e-mail threats. The ESP obtains its effectiveness through a combination of SilverListing, a proprietary technology that includes a set of low-level SMTP tests to determine the legitimacy of the sending e-mail server, and Sender Address Verification (SAV), which verifies the authenticity of first-time, unsolicited senders and introduces a human element into the process. Sendio's ESP far surpasses the effectiveness and capabilities of current spam filter offerings to finally secure the enterprise inbox.

"This partnership with TKCIS is an important step in our plan to expand Sendio's e-mail security solutions into the federal government space," said Kevin Bowyer, CEO of Sendio. "We look forward to TKCIS opening the door to a large group of federal agencies that could benefit greatly from Sendio's E-mail Security Platform."
