Parking garage contract in West Palm Beach.

Central Parking System : 25 April, 2008  (Application Story)
Renewable three year contract signed between Central Parking System and West Palm Beach to operate city parking garages.
Central Parking System has announced that its USA Parking System affiliate has been awarded a contract to operate parking facilities for the City of West Palm Beach, Florida. The contract has a term of three years plus three one-year renewal options.

Under the contract, USA will operate five existing parking facilities containing over 1,900 spaces plus two additional garages currently under construction that will add another 1,080 spaces. The new facilities will offer convenient Pay on Foot technology and the existing facilities will be converted to Pay on Foot technology in the future. USA's services will include providing customer service representatives at each location.

"It was obvious USA fully understood the scope of our Request for Proposal and responded to our needs and concerns," said Susan Olley, Parking Administrator for the City of West Palm Beach. "We have a good relationship with USA. They have consistently been responsive to our needs. We are very pleased to be able to continue that relationship."

"USA has provided parking management services for the City of West Palm Beach for the past ten years," said William Bodenhamer, President of USA Parking System. "We are very pleased to extend our relationship with the city. USA was chosen over five other bidders based on our past performance, commitment to hospitality training and familiarity with the city and the revitalisation occurring downtown."
