ONVIF Implementation Features In VMS Offering From Exacq at the PSA-TEC Show

Exacq Technologies will display the latest version of their industry leading exacqVision Video Management System (VMS) software and hardware systems in booth #517 at the PSA-TEC show to be held May 25-26, 2010 at the Donald Stephens Convention Centre in Rosemont, Illinois. PSA-TEC is an established training and networking event for the security industry, with a primary focus on security systems design, installation, and integration. In addition to the two-day exhibition hall, PSA-TEC offers intensive training across three tracks – business acumen, physical security, and IT – with courses for virtually every job function from senior management to sales professionals, purchasing agents, and technicians. Version 4.1 of exacqVision incorporates several new features and enhancements including support for serial data over IP, Video Analytics support from Viasys, proportional PTZ control, expanded maps functionality and support for new cameras from Arecont Vision, Ganz, IQeye and StarDot. In addition, Exacq will be offering a sneak peak at their new ONVIF open standard implementation and integration with network cameras from Sanyo and Bosch. “PSA-TEC is the perfect opportunity for companies like Exacq to reach some of the most influential security integrators in the industry,†notes Roger Shuman, Marketing Manager for Exacq Technologies. “We’ll also be showing our new iPhone / iPad application on the show floor. Security professionals will be amazed at how easy it is to use this powerful, cost efficient mobile tool in conjunction with an exacqVision VMS system.†The exacqVision VMS software is a true open, cross platform system used in video surveillance systems. The server software is installed on exacqVision market-leading hybrid servers (incorporating analogue and network cameras), exacqVision IP camera servers and on commercial off-the-shelf servers running either a Windows or Linux operating system. Every exacqVision server can be viewed and administered from the free client software available for Windows, Linux and Macintosh computers. The client software connects to an unlimited number of exacqVision servers (regardless of the operating systems being used) to create a truly scalable surveillance solution utilizing both analogue and network cameras.
