Omnilink lobbies for tracking of convicted sex offenders.

Omnilink Systems : 02 October, 2007  (Company News)
Omnilink supports pressure group against perpetrators of child abuse with call for mandatory GPS tracking of convicted sex offenders in America.
Omnilink Systems has announced a partnership with Stop Child Predators, a non-profit organisation committed to protecting America's children from sexual predators. The two organizations have partnered to encourage policy makers and law enforcement officials to enforce mandatory GPS tracking devices on all convicted sex offenders.

Omnilink's offender monitoring solution gives law enforcement officers immediate visibility to offender locations anytime and anywhere, even when offenders are indoors where traditional GPS does not work. Taking offender monitoring one step further, using Omnilink's solution authorities can also track the proximity of a monitored offender to particular people and immediately alert authorities if the offender comes too close.

"This partnership reaffirms that Omnilink offers the leading technology for monitoring sex offenders," says Daniel Graff-Radford, vice president of strategic accounts for Omnilink Systems. "Together with Stop Child Predators, we hope to increase awareness of this critical issue and to obtain the support of state and national officials to join this fight to protect our youth."

Stop Child Predators works with decision makers across the country to create stronger and more effective policies against sexual predators. A vital part of the recommended legislation is mandating the use of GPS monitoring devices on all convicted sex offenders upon release from prison facilities for the remainder of their lives. Through this partnership, Stop Child Predators is endorsing Omnilink Systems and its offender monitoring solution as its recommended sex offender monitoring system.

"It's our duty as Americans to protect our children from sexual predators. At Stop Child Predators, we feel that Omnilink's technology solution is the most accurate and efficient tracking device on the market," said Stacie Rumenap, Executive Director of Stop Child Predators. "We are confident that through its offender monitoring solutions Omnilink will play a vital role in helping to save another child from becoming a victim."
