NVR sales channel opened for US IP surveillance.

Exacq Technologies : 08 March, 2007  (Company News)
Partnership with PSA Security Network enables Exacq Technologies to penetrate the US IP video surveillance market for network video recorders.
Exacq Technologies is pleased to announce their recent partnership with PSA Security Network. The partnership allows all of PSA's over 200 security integrators to purchase exacqVision surveillance systems and software through PSA.

exacqVision Pro is a hybrid system that utilizes both analog and IP (network) video cameras on a rack mount or desktop PC-based chassis. exacqVision IP is an IP camera system that installs on a PC. All of the exacqVision systems utilize the same software which makes them completely scalable from one camera to thousands of cameras distributed across a network.

PSA Security Network is the world's largest electronic security cooperative. Responsible for over $1.4 billion annually in security, fire, and life safety installations, members combine the purchasing power and resources of the largest vendors with the strengths and personal attention to detail of locally-owned companies. These leading security systems integrators have access to the latest security products, best practices and other resources necessary to develop cost-effective security solutions.

"This is a great step in the growth of Exacq Technologies and the exacqVision line," notes Dave Underwood, President of Exacq Technologies. "We believe that our IP systems are a unique offering for PSA's members who are starting to embrace the latest technology in video surveillance. Our exacqVision Pro hybrid solutions allow end-users to take advantage of their existing video infrastructure, which is usually analog-based coaxial cable, and cutting-edge IP Video over a computer network—all on the same system."

"Convergence is changing the security industry and PSA members need to be on the forefront of that change," said Bill Bozeman, CPP, CHS, president and CEO of PSA. "Bringing in high-quality IP products like exacqVision Pro and exacqVision IP will help our members provide the latest in IP solutions to their customers."
