Mobotix has announced that its full product line is now available through Ingram Micro Canada, a wholesale technology distributor and supplier of IT supply-chain and mobile device lifecycle services. The complete Mobotix portfolio of IP high-resolution technologies are now available from Ingram Micro to channel partners throughout North America.
This expanded relationship with Ingram Micro helps Mobotix further establish its position in the delivery of IP-based surveillance solutions and drive greater awareness of its decentralized concept within the Canadian marketplace and among valued-added resellers.
The Mobotix decentralized approach to video surveillance solves the bottleneck process by using the camera itself to push intelligence to the edge of the network. High-resolution video data is saved either remotely on the network or locally on flash memory devices such as SD cards or USB memory. If more storage is needed, a NAS can store more data as required by the user.
“Ingram Micro’s proven record of delivering unique technology solutions to our resellers in Canada will help propel Mobotix growth strategies,” said Adeel Athar, executive sponsor, Physical Security, Ingram Micro Canada. "With our strong partner relationships and aligned business strategies, we are further empowering Mobotix partners to meet growing user demand for decentralized video surveillance products and services throughout Canada."
Ingram Micro delivers a wide array of technologies solutions and services, including physical and IT security products, to more than 200,000 resellers in approximately 160 countries. The entire Mobotix product suite, including the new M15 with exchangeable camera modules, Q24 Hemispheric Camera, the D15 DualDome Camera, the S15 Double Hemispheric Camera and the T24 IP Video Door Station, will be available through Ingram Micro’s branches.
“We are excited about the opportunity to expand our relationship with Ingram Micro,” said Steve Gorski, general manager, Mobotix Corp. “Ingram Micro offers the business resources, geographic reach and advanced technical support needed to further enable our channel partners to capitalize on the growing demand for our video surveillance solutions in the Canadian market, as well as the USA.”
