Night Vision expert from ITT joins Xenonics

Advisory board Chairman at Xenonics to bring his expertise from working at ITT Night Vision to the illumination company
Xenonics Holdings has announced that Larry Curfiss, Vice President and Director of Business Development for ITT Night Vision from 2000 until his retirement in 2007, has been named a Consultant and Chairman of the Company's newly formed Advisory Board.

'With its world-class illumination and high-definition night vision products, Xenonics has an outstanding growth opportunity. By assisting in the development of sales and marketing strategies and advising on the execution, I look forward to helping Xenonics achieve its full potential,' Curfiss said.

CEO Chuck Hunter said, 'No one has more experience or enjoyed more success selling night vision equipment to military and commercial customers around the world than Larry Curfiss. In his years as head of business development at ITT Night Vision, Larry developed and implemented global sales and marketing strategies that contributed to a tripling of revenue to nearly $500 million annually. We are thrilled to benefit from Larry's knowledge and insights about our industry.'

Curfiss, 58 years old, was Vice President and Director of Commercial Products at ITT Night Vision from 1996 to 2000, Vice President an Director of Materials at ITT Night Vision from 1993 to 1996, and Director of Manufacturing at ITT Electro-Optical Products Division from 1986 to 1993.

ITT Night Vision, based in Roanoke, Virginia, is the world's leading developer, producer and supplier of Generation (Gen) 3 image intensifier technology for US and allied military forces, as well as homeland security.
