Steve Gates of Top Layer Security to present paper on protection from latest network security threats at the Atlanta Tech-Security Conference
Top Layer Security has announced that Steve Gates, director of North American sales engineering, will discuss the next generation of network security threats and how organizations can protect themselves from the evolving threat landscape at the Atlanta Tech-Security Conference, taking place November 19, 2008 in Atlanta, GA.

In a session titled "Next Generation Network Security Threats -- What to Protect Against in 2009," Steve will discuss the current state of network security and highlight best practice security strategies businesses can employ to protect critical assets. He will also outline the next generation of threats that organizations will battle, including the increase in malware and social engineering attacks.

Steve has more than 20 years experience in network security, firewalls, VPNs, unified threat management (UTM), intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS, IPS) and network access control (NAC). He has deployed and integrated next generation security technologies into some of the largest, highest profile networks worldwide and has spoken at several industry conferences such as Techno Security and the School Administrator Symposium.

The presentation will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 10:30am - 11:15am EST at the Atlanta Marriott Downtown on 160 Spring Street NW, Atlanta.
