Network Video Recorder Enters IFSEC Award Finals

Vista CCTV : 27 April, 2012  (New Product)
Vista will be at IFSEC 2012 in May to demonstrate its Graphica Sabre NVR which has been selected as an awards finalist
Vista’s Graphica Sabre has been designed to change how the market sees IP CCTV. This aim has been recognised by the IFSEC International Security Industry Awards 2012, where it has been chosen as a finalist in the CCTV System of the Year category.

With an ever increasing number of integrators now specifying IP, it has become essential for installers to get to grips with the technology. Vista understands that this can be a daunting task, and so have designed Graphica Sabre to allow installers to move effortlessly from conventional analogue CCTV to IP video.

Developed to operate as a standalone NVR with no requirement for additional PCs, Graphica Sabre is intended as a true DVR replacement for IP systems catering for up to 16 cameras. Fully compatible with Graphica2 VMS, it allows for simple expansion to larger, network-based systems encompassing many hundreds of cameras across multiple locations and operators. Graphica Sabre is ONVIF compliant, integrating with all leading IP cameras for broad-based camera support at full 1080p HD resolution.

Because Graphica Sabre is all about simplicity, installation and user aids have been developed to make system set up truly revolutionary and simple to use. These aids include:

• Wizards for device configuration
• Simple recording management
• Intuitive video export
• Quick search timeline for easy retrieval and display of recorded images

The units are  easily configured to deliver the industry standard of 31 days recording so the installer doesn’t need to make any complicated calculations. The simplicity of Graphica Sabre also removes any need for in-house specialist knowledge, empowering installers to specify IP systems without any additional, costly training.

Simple doesn’t mean basic though. Graphica Sabre deals with cameras at the native level. This means that Graphica Sabre treats each camera as an individual, understanding its specific set-ups and making adjustments accordingly. This ensures consistent images are achieved across all the cameras on the network.

Smart Manager allows for automatic recognition of IP cameras, whilst remote access has been built in for remote technical support and diagnostics via Team Viewer.

“Unlike other similar products on the market, there are no hidden costs in the form of license fees for product versions, cameras or additional features,” explains Mark Pritchard, director of product marketing at UCP, responsible for Vista’s product development. “In addition, the system can grow with the needs of the end user and is expandable via Graphica2 VMS for larger system configuration of over 1000 cameras.”
