Network Meeting for Door Supervisors in November

Security Industry Authority : 06 October, 2009  (Company News)
The SIA is running a door supervisors network meeting in Nottingham during November
The sixth Door Supervisors Network meeting will be held on Tuesday 17 November 2009 in Nottingham. This meeting follows the successes of the first five events held regularly since September 2007 as part of the Security Industry Authority's (SIA) Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.

The meeting is being organised and facilitated by representatives from the door supervision sector, with the support of the SIA. The meeting is an opportunity for delegates working within door supervision to engage with the SIA and others in their industry.

The meeting will focus on developing a flexible approach to the evolving face of the night-time economy. Topics to be covered will include: the future of the industry; current research; client requirements; the benefits of partnership working; physical intervention skills and the value of the ACS scheme. Representatives will have the opportunity discuss and explore issues relevant to the industry and its role in the night-time economy with a variety of experienced speakers, including the new SIA CEO Bill Butler.

The day rate for attending this event is £40 per person, payable directly to the venue. A package is available for delegates wishing to arrive the night before - a single room, full English breakfast, a complimentary drinks reception and a tour of the local attractions in Nottingham for £75.

If you would like to attend the meeting, please visit The SIA's Web Site to register your interest by 23 October 2009.
