Multiple Site Key Management System

Morse Watchmans : 08 June, 2012  (New Product)
Enterprise key control has now been extended to multi-site locations with the highly scalable KeyWatcher Touch key control system
Multiple Site Key Management System
Morse Watchmans has recently introduced the KeyWatcher Touch key control and asset management system. Designed to fulfill the collaborative needs of enterprise-level key control, the advanced key control cabinet goes beyond to offer usability, scalability and integration conveniences that are unique in the marketplace.

“KeyWatcher Touch is helping to define key control management for enterprise applications,” said Fernando Pires, VP Sales and Marketing, Morse Watchmans. “Its powerful features and multiple site deployment capability are reshaping how customers integrate and use key control across the enterprise.”

The KeyWatcher Touch is designed to enable a fully integrated access control solution that can be tailored to individual requirements both now and in the future. This unique feature allows organizations to prepare for and adapt to change with minimal or no disruption to the daily operation. Key control cabinets can be added where and when  needed to support organizational growth while the overall system maintains high reliability and performance including the common usage of data bases and programming.

Other new features of the KeyWatcher Touch include a high resolution 7” capacitive touch screen/LCD display; KeyAnywhere to allow the return of any key to any KeyWatcher cabinet in the system; and FindKey to quickly find a specific key.

The new 7” capacitive touch screen/LCD display is designed for superior durability and reliability. The larger size of these LCD screens allows for easier viewing by the user and also permits the addition of more information to be displayed on the screen. Content, directions or other information is displayed with crisp colors and high contrast and at a resolution of 800 x 480 to help ensure excellent readability. The front glass is rated at 7 Mohs hardness for scratch resistance yet only requires an activation force close to 0 grams for operation.

Keys available for access can be called up on the screen. “My Keys Out” and “Find Key” are additional new operations that provide users with the location of a specified key, what keys have not been returned and when the key will become overdue. Reservations and optional comments can be entered at the site.

The KeyWatcher Touch is engineered around a new CPU board with a built-in SD card slot, USB connectivity, 10/100 Ethernet and audio output jack. Additional convenient user features include access via a new optical fingerprint reader and card reader (complete with alarm and access control integration capability), as well as larger buttons and an easier to use interface that offers step by step instructions.

Control and management of the system including programming, remote functions and reporting are available with KeyWatcher TrueTouch® software and KeyWatcher Server as the primary interface for the client software and database maintenance.
