MOD Takes Personnel Equipment From J and S Franklin

Camp supplies make up the major part of a personnel equipment order placed by the UK's Ministry of Defence

J & S Franklin has won a 2 year contract worth 4 Million GBP to supply the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) with Camp Beds, Mosquito Nets and Camp Furniture; this confirms their position as the leading supplier of camp supplies to the UK Ministry of Defence.


For over 60 years, J&S Franklin have been supplying the world's Armed Forces, Governments and Police Forces with Defence and Civil Equipment.


J & S Franklin are exhibiting at IDEX 2011 which will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from the 21st to the 24th February 2011.


The tents, part of the 'Improved Tented Camp' (ITC) have been supplied in a range of sizes for use in tented field hospitals and as personnel accommodation.


Franklin manufactures camp beds and mosquito nets in a range of models and sizes. Franklin provided 5,000 camp cots at short notice for the Temporary Deployable Accommodation (TDA)
