L-1 Identity Solutions : 08 July, 2010  (Application Story)
The Department of Homeland Security has commissioned biometric recognition company to develop mobile image capturing device which takes four simultaneous fingerprint images
L-1 Identity Solutions has been awarded a competitive contract by the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate, Human Factors Division, to fund the development of next generation technology for use in mobile four finger slap image capture devices. The L-1 technology is unique and proprietary to the Company and will be used to develop new products with significantly reduced weight and size as compared to other mobile devices in the market today.
