WatchGuard Technologies will provide next-generation firewall appliances for businesses using Mitel unified communications (UC) solutions to deliver protection for Voice over IP (VoIP) as well as their corporate networks, applications and data. By having SIP and H.323 proxy protection, WatchGuard XTM appliances can prevent a multitude of VoIP threats, including denial of service attacks, spam over Internet telephony (SPIT), voice service theft, registration hijacking, eavesdropping, directory harvesting, voice phishing (vishing) and more.
