Mission critical servers showcased by R1Soft

R1Soft : 12 March, 2008  (New Product)
Exhibits to include CDP Server for Windows and Linux which provides hourly transparent backups for mission critical operations.
R1Soft will promote its CDP products at the FOSE 2008 Conference and Expo. Scheduled for April 1-3, 2008 at the Washington Convention Centre, FOSE 2008 is the largest trade show and conference for government technology professionals. Now in its 32nd year, FOSE 2008 is expected to attract 16,000 attendees and feature 500 exhibitors.

At the show, R1Soft will showcase its CDP Server for Linux and Windows, and demonstrate key features of its products for the government sector. R1Soft has the only solution able to provide hourly backups on mission critical Linux and Windows servers. The company's solutions can also create a significant cost savings for agencies currently using older technology, such as tape backups.

"FOSE 2008 is an exciting venue for R1Soft. We are the Federal Government's sole source provider of Continuous Data Protection for Linux and Windows servers," said David Wartell, Vice President of R1Soft, a division of BBS Technologies. "Government servers are increasingly becoming a mixed Windows and Linux environment. Our data protection products allow management of backup and restore for both Linux and Windows using one web interface."
