Lensec Sponsors Texas Police Recognition Event

LenSec : 26 July, 2010  (Company News)
Texas school police conference attended by Lensec to share the latest ideas in school surveillance and security systems while recognising police achievements in the field
Lensec is sponsoring President's Night Out at the 14th annual conference of the Texas School District Police Chiefs' Association. The BBQ dinner, raffle and live music event takes place in Texas.

"As partners in school safety and security, we recognize the long hours law enforcement officers dedicate to their jobs," said Lensec CEO David Crawford. "We are happy to provide an opportunity for everyone to share ideas in a relaxed setting, and hopefully, have a little fun."

"Lensec has been a committed conference partner for many years, as well as a security partner with many of our members," said Chief John Page, president of the association. "We truly appreciate Lensec hosting an event in honour of the professionals who work tirelessly behind the scenes to protect schools and communities."

Lensec is also exhibiting at the conference, which includes representatives from public and private school districts, campus security departments, and municipal and county law enforcement agencies.

This autumn, Lensec will debut the next generation of security software. Perspective video management software (VMS) is a rich Internet application, which integrates the Microsoft Silverlight development platform in a completely web-enabled interface. As always, Lensec clients and first responders, including police and Homeland Security, can access real-time video via secure IP address with username and password. This new application also delivers power and functionality previously available only with software loaded on each user's personal computer.

"The web client and ease-of-use have always have been hallmarks of our software. With the addition of Microsoft Silverlight technology, we can offer more features and a user experience more engaging than any other software in the industry," Crawford said.
