LEGIC partners with Softcom Technologies

LEGIC Identisystems Ltd : 06 August, 2009  (Company News)
Partnership to deliver integrated security technologies using LEGIC based smart card applications
Softcom Technologies, a supplier of open multi-purpose platforms, is a new partner of LEGIC Identsystems. The partnership will allow the company to provide subsequent integration of a variety of security applications - such as access control, electronic payment systems or video surveillance systems - into a centralised management system. LEGIC based applications can thus be incorporated simply and flexibly into an existing system.

The core competence of Softcom Technologies AG is the development of complete software solutions and service-oriented architectures (SOA), which can be flexibly extended specific to the customer. The partnership with LEGIC opens up access to the world of contactless LEGIC Smart Card technology and its variety of application options.

"Our customers want versatile solutions which can cope with the highest demands and are in line with current technical standards and infrastructures. The partnership with LEGIC enables us to include LEGIC technology in our portfolio of services and increases flexibility when integrating our platforms", says Benoît Rouiller, President and Executive Director of Softcom. "We anticipate a variety of synergies for both companies as a result of the partnership with LEGIC and are delighted to become a part of the growing network of LEGIC partners."

Dr Otto Eggimann, Vice President Sales and Business Development of LEGIC, says that both companies will benefit from the partnership: "By deciding on a partnership with LEGIC, Softcom has secured itself access to our technology, and can flexibly integrate LEGIC-based solutions."
