Axis Security has been selected to protect a number of prestigious properties across Leeds city centre in a new contract with Sanderson Weatherall, a practice of chartered surveyors and property consultants.
Axis Security won the contract to provide manned guarding services at three prominent buildings, all of which are high spec and high profile multi-tenanted office buildings. The contract commenced in December 2010 following a competitive tender bid.
Matthew Lawrence, Associate Partner at Sanderson Weatherall, is pleased to see that the reasons for choosing Axis Security have been proven in the early stages of the relationship: “The approachable yet professional attitude we saw from their presentation has been carried forward into our day to day relationship, and our experience to date has been very positive,” he says.
The new contract sees Axis Security deliver front of house and concierge duties for both Princes Exchange in Leeds city centre and Building 3, Leeds City Office Park. In addition, Axis Security officers are providing out-of-hours support to the building management team at Rose Wharf, a converted flax mill overlooking the River Aire that offers high quality office space.
As part of the contract, Axis Security successfully transferred under TUPE all full time officers who are now enjoying the additional benefits and support from being part of the Axis Security team.
Group Managing Director of Axis Security, Jonathan Levine, believes that it was Axis Security’s dedication to its officers and its proven track record in providing a professional service that helped win the day: “We see it as a testament to the strength of commitment to our employees and our industry leading employment package,” he says.
“We are delighted with the contract; it proves that the way we work, the calibre of our officers and the support they receive from our senior management team is recognised throughout the regions.”
