Illuminex is continuing to provide high technology lighting systems that help to reduce costs and carbon emissions while providing high efficiency emergency lighting in public places
Eruma is pleased to provide an update regarding the progress and uptake of its energy saving lighting systems, provided through the Company's subsidiary, Illuminex. Illuminex manufactures and supplies innovative LED lighting products and systems which have cost saving advantages and facilitate client compliance with health and safety and carbon emissions concerns. The lights are easily installed and can be retrofitted into existing buildings without difficulty.

The Company's lighting solutions have been chosen for installation at a number of varying locations, proving the flexibility and significance of the products where both health & safety and energy saving are required. A five-star luxury hotel in London's Knightsbridge is currently in the process of installing Illuminex Xscape Emergency Lighting which will provide the client with a comprehensive solution delivering improved safety, security and automatic health & safety compliance along with significant energy saving benefits.

Furthermore, the Company has successfully won a tender to provide lighting solutions to a college in Dorset. The college has qualified for an interest free loan from Salix Finance, a member of the Carbon Trust, to install lighting for its three-story high classroom building with a payback of just two years and an energy saving of 33%. The installation will be completed during the Easter Break.

Eruma Chairman David Alexander said, 'We are pleased with the reception that our lighting products have received by those managing buildings in both the leisure and education sectors. Our products provide the perfect solution to those looking for a cost effective way to comply with both health & safety and energy-saving legislation and, due to the flexible nature of the products, can be used in a variety of buildings serving a vast array of sectors.'
