Latest Network Video Recorders On Show At IFSEC

Plustek : 14 May, 2012  (New Product)
Security product manufacturer Plustek will be at IFSEC this week with its range of new network video recording systems
Plustek will be showcasing its latest security devices at IFSEC 2012 (Birmingham NEC, 14-17th May). Show attendees will also be able to meet senior representatives from Plustek’s security product development team at Booth C105, Hall 4.

Show attendees can get a hands-on demonstration of Plustek’s latest security devices including the NVR Slim240Pro, nDVR 540 and NVR 4200V, in addition to the soon-to-launch NVR Slim380 and nDVR 540V.

Plustek’s
NVR Slim240Pro is one of the world’s slimmest and lightest video surveillance devices, yet it contains all the features you’d expect to find on a regular-size NVR (network video recorder). The compact design offers low power consumption (max 8-10W) and easy installation, and the aluminium alloy design allows it to operate without a fan – reducing noise and minimising maintenance.

With the enormous growth in the business and economy, there has been an increase in criminal activities across all geographies. Organisations, whether government or private, small or big, are aggressively adopting surveillance technology to help protect against threats. Designed as a 24/7 surveillance tool, the Plustek nDVR 540 can help to address the important issue of ensuring the safety and security of premises.

The nDVR 540 supports real-time 4-channel video recording with H.264 compression. Its robust aluminium design facilitates heat dissipation and its embedded switch port allows users to connect network cameras in seconds. This, in turn, enables simple multi-site local recording, which saves video feeds directly into an internal storage system to bypass the need to run any computers. Remote users can view live streams, playback, and even backup data to any predefined server using Plustek’s bundled video management software.

Plustek will also demonstrate its latest range of mobile network video recorders, specifically designed for mobile surveillance in all types of public and commercial vehicles including taxis, vans, buses, trains, limousines and heavy goods vehicles. Engineered to withstand the heavy vibrations generated by vehicles and temperature fluctuation, the NVR 4200V is built for dependability, long life and low maintenance.

Edward Hill, Business Development Manager, Plustek, said: “We’re really excited to be demonstrating our latest products at IFSEC 2012 because it’s a great platform to showcase technologies that can transform the face of security. We are also delighted to welcome two of our distributors onto our stand, Cleveland Cable Company and Comtrol, who can talk to show attendees about the practical aspects of security installations.”
