Latest electronic cylinder from GB Locking Systems

GB Locking Systems : 26 September, 2007  (New Product)
E-cylinders from GB Locking Systems can be fitted to any door from antique to tubular steel doors
GB Locking Systems' E-cylinders are the latest addition to its portfolio of lock products.

This electronic Salto thumb-turn cylinder is an excellent access control solution for those doors where fitting an electronic handle-set or other means of access control is not possible, for example, an antique door of a protected building.
It is an ideal solution when you need to add to an existing mechanical master key system, or replacing existing euro-profile cylinders with an electronic access control solution and can be fully integrated with all existing Salto access control products ie handle-sets, wall readers, glass door locks & locker locks.

The cylinder can always be opened from the inside (panic function) and is available in iButton and RFID versions.

Salto is compatible with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, which allows NFC enabled cell-phones to act as contactless data carriers to open and control Salto access controlled doors.

The unit includes easy offline installation for all types of doors (including tubular steel doors) and is equipped with a low or empty battery indication by software via SVN with the information on battery status being written on the identification medium. During battery changes, no data is lost.
