Redstor : 09 March, 2011  (Company News)
The Belfry in Birmingham will be the venue next week for the Cloud Storage and backup event to be run jointly between Redstor and EMC

Redstor will be hosting Executive Briefing Events about cloud storage and backup at the Belfry in Birmingham on Tuesday 22nd March and the Arrow ECS office in London on 23rd and 29th March from 9am to 1:30pm.

Redstor will share its experience in cloud computing over the past five years and storage over the past 13 years with customers and prospects to help them take their first steps in moving to the cloud with Redstor and EMC.

Key players in the field of information infrastructure such as Adrian Hobbins, CTO at Exponential-e, a specialist provider of next-generation wide area networks and services and EMC will be sharing their best practice advice and discussing the current state of the cloud marketplace and how this will affect businesses.

The events will open with Colin Fisher from EMC discussing the business journey to the cloud, consolidation, virtualisation, Atmos and offsite solutions. Redstor will also be speaking about the company’s experience in the cloud and the typical return on investment customers realise with cloud storage and backup solutions.

Commenting on the events, Paul Evans, Managing Director at Redstor, said: “These events have been organised to offer customers the opportunity to understand how best to utilise cloud storage and backup services, with best practice advice from some of the leading experts. Attendees will be able to ask questions and discuss their experience in detail with other businesses, which will provide them with an insight into how to implement cloud solutions and ensure a substantial return on investment.”
