The European Identity Conference this May has attracted expert speakers on the topics of Identity and Access Management as well as Governance, Risk and Compliance
See our events guide listing for more details

As in previous years, the crème de la crème of experts in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and GRC (Governance, Risk Management, Compliance) will come together at the European Identity Conference 2009 (EIC) which will take place from May 5 to 8, 2009 in Munich. The experts will share their knowledge and experience with the participants.

For example, besides the leading IAM and GRC analysts of Kuppinger Cole, Microsoft´s Kim Cameron will be one of the speakers. Kim Cameron is one of the visionaries of user-centric Identity Management, Information Cards and many other subjects. Dave Kearns, Network World columnist, will also contribute interesting facts from his wealth of experience. Eve Maler of Sun Microsystems, one of the inventors of XML, will also give a speech dealing with the future of identity and relationship management. Sachar Paulus, former Chief Security Officer (CSO) of SAP, will also participate as will Darran Rolls, who made significant contributions to the standardisation of SPML (Service Provisioning Markup Language), one of the most important standards in Identity Management.

Furthermore, the leading minds in the IAM and GRC manufacturing sector will inform the audience in keynote addresses and panel discussions about their view regarding the status and development of IAM and GRC.

Contrary to many other events, the EIC is expanding this year, too. It´s already certain that the number of sponsors and exhibitors will increase further compared to the previous year, which was already very successful.
