HID Global : 24 March, 2010  (New Product)
HID Global is attending ISC West where it will be displaying its products for the physical access control and secure identity systems
HID Global will showcase the latest advances and offerings in physical access, logical access, and secure issuance solutions at this week's ISC West International Security Conference and Exposition. In addition to demonstrating its broad portfolio of products and previewing new technologies, the company will also share its perspective for innovation at its strategy briefing.

"Innovation in the security industry is a state of mind, and can only be driven through a combination of actively listening to customers, strategically investing in technology, being a committed industry participant, and cultivating rock-solid partnerships and alliances," said Denis Hébert, HID Global's president and CEO. "Customers are the primary focus of our business, which is why we continue to expand our Genuine HID Secure Identity initiative. This initiative extends and enhances the HID Global customer experience through a unique set of value-added customer and channel partner advantages that we will be highlighting at ISC West."

HID Global will showcase its extensive suite of products, technologies, resources and partnerships for secure identity-related applications at Booth #12051 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, March 24-26. Key HID Global demonstrations at ISC West include:

Each FARGO model includes optional field-upgradable modules to scale to future requirements and works seamlessly with other HID products and technologies to optimize security and interoperability.

* Next-Generation Reader Technology: HID Global will be highlighting its next-generation, modular Edge Evo reader line for a variety of access-control applications. Also on display is the company's multiCLASS Magnetic Stripe reader line, designed for customers seeking to upgrade their current access control card system from the popular magnetic stripe technology to the enhanced security of 13.56 MHz smart card technology.

* Genuine HID Credential Solutions: Booth displays will highlight high-quality Genuine HID technology cards that enable users to seamlessly manage multiple applications and migration projects through a single credential containing diverse technologies.

* Genuine HID Technology: HID Global will be featuring more than 25 products from third-party developers who have embedded HID technology into products that extend customer value as part of the "Genuine HID Technology" ecosystem.

* HID Connect: Expanding the use of HID Global technology beyond HID-manufactured products, HID Connect, the hardware and software partnership arm of HID Global, promotes applications and products enabled by "Genuine HID Technology." HID Global booth visitors can view offerings from HID Connect Partners like Assa Abloy, Accu-Time, Axcess International, SMI and more.

* Networked Access and Advantage Partner Solutions: IP-enabled access control solutions based on HID Global's OPIN API development platform will be on display from development partners AMT, PCSC, PlaSec and Quintron. In addition, look for the more than 60 Advantage HID Channel Partners on display at ISC West who form an essential link in the Genuine HID value chain.

For each vertical market, the company offers a comprehensive ecosystem of products, resources and partnerships that help to speed the deployment of HID Global solutions.

HID Global executives will be featured at several events throughout ISC West, including:

* HID Global's "Strategies for Innovation" lunch strategy briefing: At the company's ISC West strategy briefing, Denis Hèbert, president and CEO will present HID Global's innovative strategies that provide significant advances in secure-access and identity-management technology, products, solutions and programs. Five HID Global partners will also be sharing their perspectives in a special panel discussion. The briefing is Wednesday, March 24, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., and will be followed by an exclusive media and analyst Q&A-only session from 1:05 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., in the Murano Room (3205) of the Venetian/Palazzo Congress Center, Level 3.

* Brad Jarvis, HID Global's vice president of product marketing, will present "Trends in Secure Identity Solutions: Findings, Analysis and Recommendations," and investigate current and future industry requirements and key challenges facing the physical and logical access control market. The primary research was based on a survey deployed and compiled by Chris Corum, Editor and Publisher of Avisian and provides an independent secure identity market study to look at business trends and related technology innovations such as virtual credentialing and security beyond hardware. This track session presentation will be held at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 24.
