IP Communications company picks up Homeland Security Award

Mutualink : 02 November, 2009  (Company News)
Best radio and best high definition video solutions awards picked up by Mutualink in the 2009 Homeland Security Awards
Mutualink brought home two Government Security News 2009 Homeland Security Awards for the best radio and best high definition video solutions in connection with Mutualink's multimedia interoperable communications platform. It was also first runner-up in two other categories relating to emergency preparedness response solutions. The Government Security News Homeland Security Award event was held on October 27th in New York City.

Mutualink is the industry's pioneer in creating scalable, dynamic peer-based interoperability and provides its solution at an industry leading affordable price. Mutualink offers a distributed peer-based solution with no central servers, and provides secure on-demand incident based interoperability with disparate two-way radio, telephone, mobile equipment, and real time video and information sharing.

Mutualink was the only company to take home two Homeland Security Awards. Mark Hatten, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mutualink, expressed his appreciation stating that, "All of us at Mutualink are honored and grateful that Mutualink has been recognized as the best in its field of endeavor. We especially thank Government Security News and its team of independent expert judges for recognizing the innovation, value and capabilities Mutualink offers to make our communities safer."

Mutualink, in addition to providing seamless communications between conventional and trunked analog and digital radios, Mobile Phones and Nextel, and PBX systems, enables real time streaming video sharing, file sharing and text messaging. This makes it the most advanced tool for creating a real time information rich communications environment for first responder, emergency management and security agencies. Mutualink also introduced the industry's first smartphone powered mobile interoperable gateway device, enabling real time dispatch with command and control from the field along with 2-way video sharing.
