Intruder Panel Range Extended For More End-User Applications

Cooper Security : 03 April, 2012  (New Product)
Cooper Security has broadened its i-on series of intruder panels to provide a wider choice for end users of any size
Intruder Panel Range Extended For More End-User Applications
Cooper Security announces the release of the i-on50EX and i-on50EXD intruder panels.  These products continue the success of the i-on30EX, i-on30EXD and the i-on160EX and enable the i-on range to offer a complete solution from residential through to large commercial or industrial applications.

The i-on50EX contains the new i-on version 4.0 software and is PD6662:2010 compliant from launch.  It offers 10 zones on board expandable through Scantronic’s unique decimal expansion system to 50 hybrid zones at either EN50131 grade 2 or grade 3 over five partitions.

100 users on the system may each have a code, prox-tag, remote control and a PA button.  PA buttons and remote controls use the systems radio expanders as portals enabling amazing system flexibility and an enormous secured area.

The unique Smart-Bus system on the i-on range enables 20 devices to sit on the i-on50EX bus, including the EXP-PSU smart power supply, wired and radio expanders and the i-KP01 keypad giving the installer greater flexibility and enabling better use of the systems zone allocation.

Available with a built in digital communicator and plug-on footprint (i-on50EXD) or simply with the plug on port (i-on50EX) the intruder panel is an extremely cost effective solution for both grade 2 and grade 3 installs.

With innovative features such as the bus device locator and semi-automatic addressing, the i-on50EX joins the rest of the i-on range in being fast to install and service, generating more revenue and profit for installation companies.
