The free to attend event will feature a variety of speakers including - Professor John Walker from CAMM, Rolf von Roessing member of ISACA framework committee, Paul Simmonds Board member of Jericho Forum, Ray Stanton Global head of business continuity, security and governance at BT.  Also speaking at the conference is Bob Tarzey Analyst and director from Quocirca, Raj Samani EMEA Strategy Advisor at Cloud security alliance and CTO of McAfee, Chenxi Wang vice president at Forrester and Steve Durbin global vice president at ISF - all giving their insight into information security trends and how to keep your business up to date and secure.

The virtual conference starting at 9am (BST) with eight sessions each lasting an hour, is designed so that delegates can focus on any session they want, and attend when they wish.  Each speaker will give their full in-depth insight and informative sessions on information security from the comfort of their own desk. The keynote address will focus on the evolution of security and how it has become a C-level issue.  Looking at the importance for businesses to become intelligently instrumented and interconnected, Professor John Walker and Marc van Zadelhoff director of strategy at IBM, will begin the conference with their informative talk on how to secure the enterprise in the smarter planet. The conference also covers the E-Crime industry, focusing on how cybercrime has become an industry in its own right. Sarb Sembhi from ISACA and Jeremy Dallman Senior Security Program Manager at Microsoft’s Trustworthy Computing (TwC) group will take a glimpse into the life of cybercriminals, investigating how cybercriminals pay their bills and how they continue to become increasingly powerful and a perilous force in 2011.

Bob Tarzey and Peter Wood CEO of First Base Technologies, look into the controversial topic of data breach disclosure, addressing the unwillingness of many organisations to admit and how to best disclose a data breach, to ensure minimum collateral damage. Another topical session held at the Infosecurity virtual conference will cover how the rise in use of tablet computers and iPads will impact enterprises.  Chenxi Wang and Steve Durbin, focus on how iPads affect security in organisations and the challenges they pose for IT managers.
