Indian Trade and Investment Adviser Presentation in London

UBM Live : 07 September, 2010  (Company News)
Prior to IFSEC India this November, UBM Live is providing an opportunity to find out more about the potential security market in the Indian region
The security sector in India has assumed a more important role and seen tremendous investments over the last few years. The sector is expected to grow between 25-30% per annum and thus offers excellent growth opportunities to international companies.

The industry is dependent on foreign expertise especially in the areas of surveillance systems, access control devices, alarms, sensors and other technology products. The tremendous growth in the infrastructure sector (ports, airports, roads, commercial and residential projects) in India makes it the obvious destination for foreign companies.

To learn more about the opportunities and route to market, Mr Siddharth Vishwanathan, Trade & Investment Adviser, UK Trade & Investment (India) will be giving a presentation at the UBM Offices, Ludgate House, London at 10.30 on Monday 13 September.

The presentation will cover:

* Overview of the defence and security sector in India
* Overview of the supply chain for defence and security in India
* Regulatory environment in India
* An assessment of broad opportunities and risks
* Some thoughts on potential market entry strategies.
