IIPSEC to witness release of IP ready vision components.

Firstsight Vision : 15 November, 2007  (New Product)
Range of components compatible with IP communications to be displayed along with latest range of infra red cameras from Opgal.
Stemmer Imaging will be showing a wide range of IP-compatible vision
components, including cameras, lenses, Ethernet lens controllers,
infra-red illumination LEDs and a variety of capabilities using
Stemmer Imaging's Common Vision Box (CVB) hardware-independent
imaging toolkit as a platform.

New for 2008 will be infrared cameras from Opgal Optronic Industries. Opgal is a leading supplier of highly sensitive cooled and uncooled thermal imaging systems, infrared camera engines and custom systems to OEM's and Integrators for a host of applications including
security.

A wide range of broadcast quality cameras suitable for high-end
security applications can be seen on a 'camera tree' which will show
a number of different camera types all simultaneously linked to a
single computer.

The CVB platform is used to achieve the multi-format connectivity
illustrated in the camera tree, and in a new project can be used for
visual and thermal image fusion to combine the most interesting
information from both camera technologies into one 'fused' image.

CVB also includes the Manto pattern recognition tool which has been
used to develop a unique real-time vehicle recognition system which
can identify the class of vehicle or the vehicle manufacturer.
