Mile Marker International has received several purchase orders by its Mile Marker, Inc. subsidiary from the US Army Tank and Automotive Command totaling $1,524,622 against three of its four military contracts for its patented hydraulic winch and bumper assemblies. These purchase orders call for the delivery of a total of 736 units during the next five months.
Alvin Hirsch, President and CEO of Mile Marker International said: "We expect to ship these purchase orders during the third and fourth quarters of 2007 since we have been stockpiling inventory to assemble these military winches during the past year. As we have repeatedly stated, we cannot accurately predict the timing of such military purchase orders, but we do anticipate receiving continuing purchase orders under our outstanding contracts as the military ramps up its maintenance program again. The Mile Marker hydraulic winch is the only approved winch for military Humvee vehicles. We currently still have approximately $45 million in potentially unfilled orders under our four military contracts which expire between March 31, 2009 and February 11, 2010."
