Honeywell user group demonstrations of Extio F1400

Matrox Graphics : 05 June, 2009  (New Product)
Matrox is attending the Arizona Honeywell user group conference to demonstrate it's multi-display remote graphics unit
Matrox Graphics will demonstrate the Extio F1400 multi-display remote graphics unit (RGU) at the Honeywell Users Group Americas Symposium in Phoenix, Arizona.

The demonstrations will take place on Monday, June 15: 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 16: 11:30 am - 6:00 pm, Wednesday, June 17: 11:30 am - 6:00 pm and Thursday, June 18: 11:30 am - 4:00 pm at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort, 5350 East Marriott Drive, Phoenix in the USA.

'Matrox Extio products work very well with Honeywell control systems, including the Icon Series Console. Since graphics, audio, and USB hardware is integrated into the Extio device itself, graphics performance at 800 ft is as fluid as it would be if the displays were powered directly by an add-in card in a computer only a couple of feet away under the desk.'

The Matrox Extio F1400 multi-display RGU enables the extension of up to four displays, audio and six USB devices by up to 820 feet of fiber-optic cable. In addition, the Extio F1400 features passive (fanless) cooling and PCI Express technology, which makes it an ideal solution for mission-critical applications requiring a reliable graphics and I/O extension solution. By separating the computer from the monitors and other user-interface components, the Extio Series of products helps address issues such as security, heat, noise, system maintenance, and support in high-reliability computing environments.
