High levels of interest in Salto access control products at IFSEC

Salto Systems : 27 May, 2008  (Company News)
IFSEC 2008 proved to be a successful event for Salto with high levels of interest in their access control products including the RFID E-Cylinder and the Advanced Panic Bar Solution
Salto Systems says this year's IFSEC was the perfect platform to launch a host of new electronic access control products.

The stand was constantly busy with visitors from the UK, Europe and International destinations interested in viewing the latest in access control technology, with particular interest shown in the new RFID E-cylinder available in DESfire/Mifare, Picopass and HID iClass versions. Already this product has been selected and installed by British Airports Authority (BAA) to lock almost 2,000 doors at Terminal 5 Heathrow.

Another popular new line that was in great demand for product demonstrations was the brand new Salto Advanced Panic Bar Solution (SAPS). This has been developed due to market demand for an electronic access control solution that can be fitted on standard exit doors equipped with panic bars. Certified to EN1125 standard, SAPS allows users to add the control of exit doors to an access control system without the usual high cost of a fully wired solution and is simple and quick to install and configure with no need for any complex wiring.
Other new products included card enrolment solutions incorporating automatic card assignment technology, mullion readers for narrow style door frames and free standing access control totems.

"In my opinion" says Marc Handels, Marketing & Sales Director at Salto Systems,
"IFSEC 2008 was better than all previous years. Our stand at this years show was 30% bigger than the year before and for 2009 our stand will be 30% bigger than our stand in 2008, reflecting the importance we place on IFSEC to help us develop relationships with new customers as well as grow the Salto access control brand in a truly international arena".
